Baked Camembert is perfect for this and really any other time of year. I have this dish almost every week and it's on the table in under 20 minutes. Cheese, tomatoes, onions and garlic - everyone really likes it. Fried Brie - here's the recipe: 1 whole Camembert with at least 40% fat (Brie will also work) I recommend "Le Rustique" 1 handful of cherry tomatoes 3 cloves of garlic 2 shallots 1/2 handful of physalis or 1-2 figs 3 sprigs of thyme 2 sprigs of oregano 10 basil leaves 3 tbsp olive oil 1-2 tbsp good balsamic vinegar Coarse salt and pepper 1x good bread (sourdough would be great, but baguette works too) Instructions: Finely chop the shallot and garlic and sauté in olive oil. Add the cherry tomatoes and braise over a low heat. Season with coarse salt and pepper. Cut 1-2 figs into slices. Now make a cross-shaped tic-tac-toe cut into the Camembert and then place it in the middle of the pan with the cherry tomatoes. Add the figs, basil, thyme and oregano and cover and leave to simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes.
