At the end of September 2011, I happened to have an appointment near Wernigerode that gave me the opportunity to visit the Brocken Railway before and after the trip. The weather was perfect and I took the opportunity to go up to the Brocken. I visited the Brocken Railway for the first time in over 10 years and it was a great experience. Unfortunately, I don't know the route very well, so all the photos were taken by chance. But perhaps I'll have the opportunity to go to the region with my family soon. It remains to be seen whether the Brocken will be t-shirt weather with no wind again.
