We will be sending you a series of winter trips to Kagoshima. For the third trip, we will be sending you a stay at Shiroyama Hotel Kagoshima, which is said to be the best hotel in Kagoshima. The hotel is built on Shiroyama, a hill 108 meters above sea level, overlooking Kagoshima city, and offers a spectacular location with a panoramic view of Sakurajima, the symbol of Kagoshima, and Kinko Bay. The rooms also have a view of Sakurajima, so you can enjoy the spectacular view while staying in your room. And there is an open-air hot spring with a spectacular view overlooking Sakurajima and Kagoshima city. It was the best hotel. And then there's the gourmet food! We savored the "Kubiori Saba Sashimi Set Meal" at the market restaurant inside the Kagoshima Central Wholesale Market Fish Market. In Tenmonkan, the busiest shopping district in southern Kyushu, we ate a polar bear at Mujaki, the restaurant where polar bears originated, and had ramen and fried rice at Ramen Koganta, a super famous Kagoshima ramen restaurant.
