I show how I catch thick, winter chubs using a rubber larva led with a fan - see how to get to December fish in a large, mountain river Do you want to support what I do? Buy me a coffee: https://buycoffee.to/zwedkarskiepud... That day, the periods of increased chub activity were very short - literally 3-4 minutes followed by a long break. Sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes an hour. The bites occurred primarily at the bottom, especially when the bait dragged along it broke away under the influence of the current's pressure on the braid (the final stage of leading with a fan). The largest fish - a half-meter chub - caught the falling bait in the depths, about halfway down the fishing ground. I led the bait, which was a 4.5 cm imitation of a grub larva, lazily, most often giving up on any active animation and leaving the lure to the power of the lazy current. The strong set I had with me allowed me to resolutely and safely tow it in. It was possible to fish more gently, but being by this water for the first time, I preferred to be prepared for possible surprises ;-) The equipment I used: Rod: Team Dragon CXT 190 cm 1-12g Reel: Shimano Vanford 2500 HG Braid: Intech MICRO BRAID PE X4 PE 0.3 Leader: fluorocarbon Perch Professor 0.17 mm Lures: Libra Lures Goliath 4.5 cm on hook no. 4 with a 1.5 g tungsten cheburashka Fishing for chub on soft lures in the cold season Spinning Aces: Grzegorz Zaczkiewicz • Fishing for chub on soft lures in the cold season...
