Why on earth do we all have an ego if the trick is to look at it and then do nothing with it?!! Three guesses where these thoughts come from? The ego. The ego wants nothing more than for us to think that it is indispensable. That without ego it becomes a chaotic mess. But without ego isn't everything love? You are not the ego, you are the one who can choose. The observer. The one who can choose whether you put the ego behind the wheel of your life, or whether the ego can take a seat in the passenger seat. So if you can choose YOURSELF it is simple, right? You don't have to look at university studies or meta-analyses from peer reviewed magazines for that. It is the choice between fear and love. Between illusion and truth. Between chaos and peace. Between guilt and innocence. Between postponing and tackling. Between victimization and solving. Between organ meat and banana. [[oops, joke from ego ;-)!!!! ]] Between anger and aggression or unity and compassion. Between insecurity and freedom. The ego believes in fear, guilt, victimhood, reproach, anger, rejection, violence, struggle, doubt, jealousy, control, dominance, specialness and attack. You must be crazy to believe that you create a win-win with this! Let alone happiness and peace. Keep in mind: you are me and I am you. And even better: if you do not control your ego, it controls you. At the expense of your health. Physical, mental, relational, financial and spiritual.
