Cabinet piece #37: These three short stories appeared in the illustrated humorous weekly Fliegende Blätter, which was published in Munich from 1845. Wilhelm Busch (born 1832 in Wiedensahl, died 1908 in Mechtshausen) lived in the Bavarian capital for several years around 1860 to study art. During this time he published various humorous texts as a freelance contributor to the magazine, thus enabling him to finance his living for the first time. --- --- --- --- --- --- Anyone who would like to support me with a motivating coffee donation is welcome to do so at Ko-fi.com/LaRoLit. --- --- --- --- --- --- The texts including the drawings are in the public domain and can be found here https://www.projekt-gutenberg.org/wbu...
