After no trains ran to Kemmlitz for over ten years, the first section to Kemmlitz Ort is now being opened with many special trains. The Mügelner IVK 99 574 and the VT 137 322, which travelled specially from Zittau, travelled the new old route several times with countless passengers. There were several double exits in Nebitzschen. The route to Kemmlitz is of particular importance for the history of today's Döllnitzbahn, as freight traffic to the kaolin works continued until 2001. Without this, the route would probably have followed the fate of the other sections of the former Mügelner network in the 1970s.
