Read more details here that I don't explain in the video: In today's episode I give you 6 reasons why you should start a business in Spain by directly setting up a SL (Limited Company) instead of starting as a freelancer. Starting with a SL is a bit more expensive, it's true, but we must set it up with the mentality and plan of billing and being active. How much more expensive is it to start with a SL? Well, look, you'll need to set up the company and do all the paperwork, and you can hire managers to do EVERYTHING for you for €300 to €1000 (it depends on who you hire, but the cost range is around there. I paid a total of €500 with all expenses included when I set up my last SL in Spain a year and a half ago). Then the agency you need to handle your taxes will cost somewhat more, for example, if you are only self-employed, your agency cost may be between €50 and €150 per month (of course, if you are a self-employed person who has many invoices and a lot of complexity, you will pay much more). And the same person being a SL would pay between €150 and €300 per month for the agency service for the management of the SL and the corporate self-employed, as well as if you have a payroll, apart from your own. So yes, the cost of creating the SL has to be taken into account, as well as the cost of the agency. However, if you are really going to take the business seriously, these are costs that do not have to stop you from being able to have the advantages of the SL over the self-employed, which are quite a few. In the long run, of course you are interested in having a company (SL) but in many cases, the SL is a good option from the start.
