Since, at 1862 meters, it is the highest mountain on the island of Madeira and the third highest in Portugal, you can imagine how breathtaking the view is. If not - watch our video about the #SunsetHike. We recommend parking at the Achada Do Teixeira car park and setting off around 2.5 hours before sunrise. You will need around 2 hours for the 2.8 km each way. It is very strenuous, but worth it. Tip: pack a flashlight and camera! ◾Seixal Beach Green island, black sand, blue sea. This is the #SeixalBeach on Madeira. The small town of Seixal on the north coast of Madeira has 650 inhabitants and is located between Porto Moniz and São Vicente on the VE2 coastal road. ????
