When we don’t notice God’s action on our behalf, we think He’s not listening to our prayers. It seems like our words don’t go beyond the ceiling. And sometimes we start to feel rejected, as if God chooses who He wants to hear and answer. But I tell you that this says more about who you are or are being before Him than about God Himself. He hears and answers the prayers of His “Chosen Ones,” but what no one understands is that the main characteristic of one of God’s Chosen Ones is to become His servant. A servant of God needs to surrender himself completely to obeying Him, regardless of what happens.
