She says she's been singing for as long as she can remember, and to this day she still gets nervous when she goes on stage. With a beautiful voice, dancing skills and a lot of charisma, folk singer Nikolina Chakardakova has hundreds of thousands of fans. In today's episode of "Women of Bulgaria" she talks about her love for music, her passion for the stage, her personal life and many other topics. "There was always singing in our family. I grew up with songs. At the age of 16, I became a soloist in the Neurokop Ensemble, and from there my professional musical path began," she says. "I was the first folk singer who, in addition to singing, wanted to dance. Just singing wasn't enough for me. I had moments where my skin was getting tight, I wanted to move. I couldn't do that with the big costumes, so I decided to wear trousers. The hat I wear on stage in the Macedonian region is worn by men. Thus, the stage gave me the opportunity to transform into both a man and a woman. In the end, that's how I managed to build my own image," says the singer. 📱 Follow all the most important at https://btvnovinite.bg/ and https://btvplus.bg/ #️⃣ #btv #btvnews #btvnovinitebg #btvdigital
