Kong - it's not so much a toy as an accessory used to fill it with food and give it to the dog to eat. It has many benefits. It works great when the dog is very greedy and eats meals greedily. Kong will force him to eat slowly. Kong significantly prolongs the pleasure of the meal (the dog licks it for up to a dozen or so minutes). It can be very helpful when fighting separation anxiety in a dog - by leaving a kong for them, we make it a bit easier to separate from the owner, because they are busy and spending time pleasantly (food). In the summer, I recommend freezing kongs with food, creating meat ice cream for dogs, which will cool them down nicely in hot weather. Lick mats - here the application is more or less the same as in the case of kongs. We spread the food in the cracks of such a mat, and the dog's task is to lick it. Licking for dogs is a great form of relaxation and soothing nerves, so it will be a great choice for hyperactive dogs, but also greedy ones.
