Professor Valeska Zanello analyzes the insults that are present in our daily lives, starting from facts that we experience frequently, but that we rarely notice: we insult men and women differently! But why? She is an assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology (PCL) at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Brasília. Valeska is a feminist who works at the interface between mental health, psychopathology, gender, philosophy of language and psychoanalysis. She coordinates the research group “Mental health and gender”. She is a representative of the Federal Council of Psychology at the National Council for Women's Rights (SPM) and a member of the Feminist Studies Group (GEFEM) at the University of Brasília. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
