◼︎ Just 10 years after the end of the Imjin War in 1607, the Joseon diplomatic mission set foot on Japanese soil. The Imjin War, in which 2 million people lost their lives and 100,000 were taken to Japan. Why on earth did the Joseon delegation of friendship cross the sea before the aftereffects of that war had even subsided?
