Why is veganism an ideological mistake and when can meat harm us? And why is BIO certification not enough for meat? In the new episode of the Trime podcast, we will focus on the importance of regenerative agriculture, soil and animal health, and the impact of these factors on food quality and human health. Our guest is an experienced pasture farmer and promoter of regenerative grazing in the Czech Republic, Karel Kalný, who shares why soil care is key. The soil is not unlimited and its health is reflected in the entire ecosystem. When we take care of the soil, quality conditions are created for animal husbandry and, consequently, quality food. In the interview, we will touch on the differences between conventional, organic and grazing farming. Surprisingly, not every organic farm has to be OK with regards to sustainability and not every convention is necessarily a bad system. An approach such as minimizing tillage and protecting soil micro-organisms and fungi, which in turn protect and restore the soil, improve food quality and support the natural ecosystem, is important. We will touch on the issue of nitrogen in the soil, soil resistance in arable farming and especially the specifics of raising chickens and beef from Mitrovo. How specifically do regenerative farming methods support natural nutrient cycling, minimize the need for chemicals and contribute to sustainability? This part is intended for everyone who is interested in quality food, ethical agriculture and long-term sustainable approaches to nature, but also for fans of nutritional trends such as vegetarianism and veganism. Even these directions bring their victims - the fact that they do not contain meat does not mean that they are without consequences. 🔻 What you will learn in podcast #39: 🔻 00:00 Introduction 13:40 What is regenerative agriculture? 19:53 The problem of nitrogen in the soil 22:45 Differences between chickens from conventional farming, organic farming and pasture farming 33:30 Beef from Mitrovo - farming method 40:20 Resilience of the soil of regenerative farming vs. of intensive soil cultivation 42:50 Regenerative cultivation methods - supports the natural cycle 48:08 Veganism will not save our planet 53:40 Nutritional analysis - What does Mitro meat contain? 1:10:00 Animal disease 1:12:00 Other important substances in meat - trace elements, MK, vitamin K2 1:14:00 Livestock production - situation in the Czech Republic 1:27:00 Other farms with a similar way of farming _______________________________________________ ➡️ Karla You can find Kalného at: https://mitrovsky.com/ Podcast Grass on a plate - https://spoti.fi/3Al1dxi 🔎 Where you can find other useful information? ► Subscribe to our regular newsletter or follow our blog https://trime.cz/blogs/news 🔥 Subscribe to our YouTube channel / @mytrime 🎙️ Listen to our podcasts also on these platforms: Spotify: https://sptfy.com/KgZC Apple podcast: https://buff.ly/3azD7BA 🔗 Follow us on social networks: Instagram: / cztrime Facebook: / trime.cz LinkedIn: / mytrime #zemedelstvi #udrzitelnost #vegan #Podcast #Trime ℹ️ By listening to this podcast, you acknowledge and agree that this podcast is for entertainment purposes only.
