a day of historical-archaeological studies by the Giuseppe Flavio study group hosted on May 28 from 10:00 to 17:30 in the Auditorium of the Revoltella Museum in via Diaz, 27 in Trieste. The day of studies will see the participation of scholars from Italy and abroad who will address the theme regarding the figure of Jesus from a strictly historical and archaeological point of view. All the speakers are university professors who have been dealing with this issue for years with the publication of books and articles at an international level. After the introductory greetings, the speeches will be by Adriano Virgili (at 10) on the topic “Jesus of Nazareth, a Jewish prophet of the 1st century” and by Gabriele Boccaccini (starting at 11:30) entitled “Groups and currents of thought in Second Temple Judaism”. The event will resume at 3:00 pm with Francesca Romana Stasolla who will report on “The most ancient Christological memories: veneration, monumentalization, archaeological traces” and continue with Maurizio Lorber who at 4:30 pm will discuss the topic “The true face of Christ: from the relic to the image”
