Călin Muscă is the farmer who can answer the question: which livestock activity is more profitable - raising beef cows or raising pigs? In Arad County, the entrepreneur owns both livestock farms and a state-of-the-art slaughterhouse where animals from the production of his own farms are used. On the beef cattle farm in the Arad locality of Olari, we met some of the most beautiful specimens of the Charolais breed (pronounced Şarolez). The first herds were brought directly from France in 2015, and since then the farm has expanded with two more shelters built with the help of European funds. -------- The material was broadcast on July 5th during the show Fermerii României, on TVR 1, a co-production of TVR and Agrointelligence.
