Necip Fazıl is someone who has analyzed very well the origins of this country's problems, has experienced to his core the problems related to its recent history, the problems of modernization, secularization, Turkey's loss of identity, loss of personality, and the danger of being erased from history; therefore, he has seen that the intelligentsia in Turkey is literally rootless, metamorphosed, alienated, soulless, and in denial of itself, and that it will drag this country to the brink of suicide.
