In today's episode, we went looking for the best shawarmas in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Shawarma is a popular dish that has its roots spread across several Arab countries and even Europe. In Lebanon, the name is shawarma, in Turkey it is döner kebab, in Greece it is gyrus, in Mexico it is El Pastor... The structure of the dish is the same: grilled meat in pita bread or flatbread accompanied by salad and sauce. In Lebanon and Syria, they add garlic paste, in Turkey it is hummus, and in Greece it is yogurt... We selected four unmissable places, each with its own particularity and in different neighborhoods of the city.
