Professor Emeritus Choi Jun-sik of Ewha Womans University has published 'Karma Lectures You Should Hear Before It's Too Late'. This is the third series of deaths, following 'Death Studies Lectures You Should Hear Before It's Too Late' in 2014 and 'Lim-Jong Studies Lectures You Should Hear Before It's Too Late'. Professor Choi, who received his doctorate in religious studies from Temple University in the United States and served as a professor of Korean studies at Ewha Womans University, is an authority on Korean studies who studies Koreans and Korean culture. He became obsessed with death and the afterlife. In 2005, he established the Korean Death Society, the first of its kind in Korea. He established the Center for Human Consciousness Research and has studied and taught topics such as human death, unconsciousness, superconsciousness, past life, and hypnosis. Over the years, the Korean Death Society has held many 'Death Seminars' and established 'Well-dying Guidelines'. Professor Choi believes that death studies are not only for ending life well, but also for solving the homework of this life and living a proper life. Professor Choi explores the afterlife of major religions with an open mind, but the background of his 'lecture' is not religion. He thoroughly bases his research on near-death experiencers. He believes that the study of near-death experiencers who saw the afterlife after their souls left their bodies in a state similar to death, such as cardiac arrest, is a gift of modern medical science that has revealed the vague afterlife. We met Professor Choi at his office next to Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul and talked in detail about not only past life, present life, and afterlife, but also realistically how to face death and passing away. #Professor Choi Jun-sik #Karma ---------------------------- Jo Hyun TV Hyesimjeong Jo Hyun Hankyoreh Shinmun Religion Specialist Reporter [email protected] What do you want?
