※ This video is part of <Documentary Prime - The Lost Humans Part 2 Survival> broadcast on November 29, 2016. What are the conditions for humans to be humans? To solve that mystery, we meet Homo floresiensis and Ardipithecus ramidus, survivors who are now extinct but were truly extraordinary. ① Rewriting the definition of humanity. Homo floresiensis, called 'hobbits' because of their small stature, is very small, at just over 1 meter tall. It is estimated that they lived with us on the remote island of Flores in Indonesia until just 12,000 years ago. They used tools and hunted, even though their brains were only the size of an orange. The discovery of 'hobbits' showed us that what we knew about the genealogy and evolutionary history of humans was only a very small part. ② Advancing into the unknown, bipedal walking. Ardipithecus ramidus, who built nests in trees and reminded us of 'Tarzan', was a human who lived 4 million years ago. With an appearance closer to chimpanzees than humans and a brain capacity of 500cc, they were not much different from apes. One day, they came down from their tree nests, where they were safe from predators, to the ground and began walking on two feet. That step was a huge first step in human history. ✔ Program name: Documentary Prime - The disappearance of humanity, part 2, survival ✔ Broadcast date: 2016.11.29 #GolladunDocumentary #DocumentaryPrime #Humanity #Human #Extinction #Survival #Earth #Primitive #Homosapiens #Hobbit
