Repeated flowering of Weigela "Bristol Ruby". After abundant flowering at the beginning of the season, Bristol Ruby gave many shoots that bloomed in early August. Weigela is pruned regularly, every year: sanitary, formative and rejuvenating. Rejuvenating and formative pruning is done immediately after the first flowering. Sanitary pruning - throughout the season. The first flowering of Weigela occurs on the shoots of the previous year (therefore, Weigela is not pruned in the fall, only sanitary pruning is carried out). The second flowering is on the lateral shoots of this season. After the second flowering, I trim only those branches that go beyond the formed crown of the bush so that the bush visually looks neat.
