THRU AXLES We are going to differentiate between specific axles for Road and specific for Mountain Bike. For ROAD bikes, with 12mm diameter to save weight, front length 100mm and rear length 142mm. Those intended for MTB bikes with 15mm diameter and 100/110mm width at the front, the same axle with 20mm diameter at the front is common on gravity discipline bikes. And things get complicated at the rear: 12mm diameter and widths of 142mm, 151mm, 156mm. The BOOST system consists of axles with a width of 148mm, and we call SUPER BOOST the larger sizes, intended for bikes that need greater robustness: enduro, DH, eBikes.
