Even if it is a small or larger dining room, integrated or not, there will always be a model that will look beautiful in your space. Speaking from a psychoarchitectural perspective, I will always prefer tables with a round or organic shape, but they are not always the best options. The cool thing about these shapes is that people feel more relaxed and because they convey a message of equality, since everyone can see each other, they promote more social interaction. If the best option for you is a square or rectangular shape, my suggestion is that you choose a model with more rounded corners instead of sharp, pointy corners.
