On our first trip along the beautiful friendship route, we found stunning landscapes and unique scenery in the mid-west of Santa Catarina. Along this route full of wonders, we saw unique cultural features, natural attractions and unmissable tourist spots for those who love curiosity. The incredible German, Austrian and Italian cultures are part of Brazilian history. The route begins in the beautiful and exuberant city of Piratuba (southwest region of Santa Catarina, close to the border with Rio Grande do Sul), a city that is summed up in rich cultural features, in addition to providing the meeting of formidable characters for the city. In this urban paradise, the thermal waters were discovered in the 1960s, becoming the biggest regional attraction, attracting investment and tourists over the years, generating good cuisine, spreading Germanic culture, bringing great hospitality to visitors, such as the Hotel Termas Piratuba, and the nostalgic journey to the historical roots, on the Termas Train.
