Nope, NOPE or Nope is the new film by director Jordan Pelee of horror and science fiction, this film has been a success with fans of modern horror cinema and fans of cosmic horror as it is a quite original or unique story for what we are used to in current cinema. During the plot we follow two brothers named OJ Haywood and Emerald Haywood who try to keep the ranch and their family's legacy afloat since they are the owners of the ranch known as Haywood Hollywood Horses which were mainly dedicated to raising and training horses to be able to later use them in Hollywood productions such as movies, television series and commercials. After the unexpected and strange death of the boys' father named Otis Haywood Sr. and Otis Haywood Sr., their children OJ and Emerald struggle a lot to keep the business going and after they lose an important commercial job, they notice that there is something very strange on or near their ranch, as it seems that an alien entity or an extraterrestrial ship is lurking in the area near their ranch near the town of Agua Dulce in California. That is why they decide to embark on an adventure as they seek to capture footage of this apparent alien ship that actually hides more mysteries than we can expect. So basically OJ and Em recruit a young man named Angel Torres and the famous cinematographer Antlers Holst to help them with this dangerous and terrifying project. It is because of how interesting the plot of the film is, how cryptic the director gets with some of the themes he deals with in the film and with its subtext, as well as the fact that the alien ship, UFO or UFO is actually some kind of grotesque living being that is very scary and wild, that this film has quickly earned its place as one of the best horror films to be released this year in 2022 and as one of the best in modern horror cinema.
