Less than three weeks ago, the tragic fate of an Iranian family was on the headlines of the British, French and Iranian news. The English Channel once again swallowed the victims who sat in dangerous boats to reach the shore of peace. The overturning of the boat carrying the refugees was the bitter end of the life of an Iranian couple with their three young children. BBC Farsi has obtained details of the life of this family that shows how they left their city and country in the hope of a better life. The waters between France and Great Britain, especially the English Channel, are considered to be one of the graveyards of refugees, the graveyard of people desperate from the inevitability of a life full of suffering, who gamble in the hope of a better future and face violent waves.
