▶ Part 2, Wild Roar, is a story about the various wild animals living in the Okavango Delta. ▶ A pack of Lycaon (African wild dogs) chases an impala. The impala, which hates water and is at a crossroads of life and death, jumps into the river. Richue walks on water to hunt. A leopard ambushes Richue in the wetlands near the water and targets her. A mother leopard loses her cubs to a hyena attack. ▶ Countless animals compete for survival in the Okavango Delta. The reason why the Okavango has such a diverse range of wild animals is because the water never dries up. It takes five months for the rain that falls upstream in January, the rainy season, to reach the Okavango. When the dry season begins in June, the Okavango is filled with water. ▶ The Okavango, a wild oasis, has a wonderful story of life hidden in it. Lycaon vomits the prey it hunts out of its throat to feed its cubs and constantly moves to avoid hyenas. The mother, Richue, who has a broken leg, takes care of her young cub until the end. The hippopotamus stands watch to prevent her dead family from being eaten by lions. ※ This video is [Environmental Special - Public Corporation Foundation Special 『Wild Okavango』 Part 2 Wild Roar (broadcast on March 4, 2009)].
