But now, there is another type of lithium battery used in mobile phones that is becoming more and more popular, which is the lithium-ion polymer battery or known in the abbreviation as Lipo battery or Lipo battery. It will have a similar rectangular shape, but will be clearly stated as a Lithium-ion Polymer battery. And some are designed to be very thin, similar to a credit card to make the mobile phone lighter. But if you still can't imagine it, It is easy to observe that Lipo batteries in other electronic devices are usually packed in a sealed silver bag. The size is a bit flat. In fact, they can be designed freely according to the materials and usage. Like this picture, it is a hexagonal lithium polymer battery for use in underwater vehicles, extra-small devices, such as car cameras, facial massagers, or some devices that do not require much weight, such as drones, power banks or new notebooks. We have started using it. It is considered that Lithium polymer batteries are not directly developed from Lithium Cobalt Oxide. But they will be upgraded to make the batteries safer.
