Yesterday there was a comment on the video that the Democrats caused the crisis in the US. No, that is not the case at all. The Republican chairman of Congress is responsible for making sure that a budget proposal is made. Mike Johnson had found a majority of Republicans AND Democrats willing to approve a proposal. That party was disrupted by both Trump and Musk, only Musk and Trump each had their own version and that version was diametrically opposed. Trump wanted a huge budget increase, so that he would have an easy time next year. Musk did not want a proposal at all. Those two visions were opposed to each other and Musk won the argument and that is why Trump is now Musk's bitch. Musk now determines policy in the US and Musk can now ensure that it will be a miserable Christmas for many civil servants and many poorer Americans. The question is when the Republicans will be able to clean up this mess. The Democrats do not have to do anything here. The Republicans have the majority.
