What is Duty Cycle? You know, by precisely controlling the duty cycle, pulse width, and frequency, modern inverters can convert DC power into AC power very efficiently. Inverters are used for various applications such as solar power systems, electric vehicles, and uninterruptible power supplies, which are commonly known as UPS. These circuits are often used in robotics and other similar applications to enable DC motors to run in forward or reverse. The inverter is used to transform the stable DC voltage into AC alternating voltage, by methodically using digital signals. But you should know that, the sine wave generated is not a completely smooth curve, like the one generated with analog signals. All of this is well explained in this video with good animation work.
