About :

Understanding how colostrum acts in the formation of the microbiota of premature babies. This was one of the objectives of research conducted by the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCF) at USP with children hospitalized in two hospitals in the city of São Paulo. By collecting saliva and feces samples, scientists analyzed which bacteria are present in the bodies of children who consumed breast milk in the first days of life. In this series of three videos, the researchers detail the results of the study.
