In the last months of Mohammad Reza Shah's reign, when the revolutionaries were fighting and working against the government, Imam Musa Sadr was working in southern Lebanon. In the summer of 1357, Sadr was invited by Muammar Gaddafi's government to Tripoli, Libya, and a few days after he went there, news came that no one had heard of him or his companions.
