He not only believed in who Jesus was, but he trusted in His power. In John 14:13-14, Jesus reaffirms: “Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it.” This faith challenges us to believe in God even when circumstances say otherwise, because without faith it is impossible to please Him. 4️⃣ Being a Living Testimony of God’s Power After the miracle, the first face Bartimaeus saw was that of Jesus Himself. Imagine the joy of that moment! But Bartimaeus did not keep his story to himself; he became a living testimony of God’s grace and power. Our lives need to reflect the transformation we have received, being light and salt wherever we go.
