Bieszczady... whatever you say about them - always gives me a slight thrill. Still wild, beautiful, undiscovered... plus memories from my youth... all this means that I don't need much persuading to go to this Podkarpacie tourist paradise. But Bieszczady is not only Podkarpacie - it is also vast regions of Ukraine and Slovakia. While (for obvious reasons) - the Ukrainian part of Bieszczady is better left for calmer times, the Slovak Bukovské Vrchy can always be visited now. So, taking advantage of the favourable weather, I decided to wander around the Polish-Slovak border for a while and convince myself that the magic of these regions is still there. A little over 140 km through Bieszczady and Bukovské Vrchy is a whole day trip. And although my lonely loop was not one of the easiest (it was not without small adventures), the places I visited (Osława Gorge, Szczerbanówka, Przełęcz nad Roztokami, Lake Starina) were scenically stunning and 100% conveyed the atmosphere I was expecting: empty roads, fantastic descents and exciting, although not easy, climbs and, above all, picturesque views... and that atmosphere. It is impossible to describe... you have to take your bike and go... Let my modest report be an encouragement for you to experience the magic of Bieszczady for yourself... Best regards???? Rafał You can download the GPX trace completely for free, but if you would like to support my modest cycling activity in return - a small coffee will be a very nice gesture on your part. You can find the details below. The GPX trace can be downloaded here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Z9Sx... * * There is no expedition without coffee! But to have the strength for long climbs – coffee is essential ☕ So if you pour it into my thermos – my next trip will definitely be lighter, and the film report more interesting. https://buycoffee.to/cykloop #bieszczady #bukovskevrchy #starina #petlarowerowa #kolarstwo #rower #wycieczkarowerowa #gravel #mtb #komancza #ruskesedlo #radoszyce Music: Artlist + Epidemic Sound Map source: OpenStreetMap.org Route data: Strava
