Becsvölgye is a small village in Zala. Its special feature is that it consists of not one, but seven settlements at the same time: it was created from the amalgamation of seven small villages. The residential communities established at the corners of the Göcse hills, such as Barabásszeg, Kereseszeg, Kislengyel, Pajzsszeg, Salomfa, Vargasszeg and Vörösszeg, are also fighting against aging and depopulation. The village's "friends" - as they are called here - play a big role in this, such as the Cselényi family or Krisztina Köbis and Jens-Uwe Köbis of German origin, who fell in love with the Zala landscape and found a new home here. But what is life like in Becsvölgy? What else can keep young people there? And how has life in the village changed in recent years, especially since Covid? We asked the residents of Becsvölgye about this. #village #magyarvillage #smallvillage #depopulated #Zala #DWHungary
