A ride of a stock Niva off-road on the edge of the capabilities of a 4x4 vehicle. The goal of the series was to compare the cross-country ability of a stock Niva on different wheels in the standard size. Not everyone wants to do tuning, but there is a desire to increase cross-country ability. For this, sometimes it is enough to install off-road tires. But the capabilities of the stock car turned out to be so high that even after the rain, it was not possible to immediately find a worthy obstacle for the stock. Therefore, the line of reason was shifted further and further. Until the off-road began, completely unsuitable for the stock Niva, but even here they did not stop. The Niva fought with dignity, until it met a completely impassable puddle. It was this that ruined it, finished off the clutch, flooded the interior and left it in the forest. Later, making our way to the rescue on another Niva with locks and 31 wheels, we winched along the way to my car. The guys did not believe for a long time that a stock car could have driven here. Unfortunately, it was no longer possible to follow the tracks the next day on other tires, the Niva required repairs. Therefore, the comparison as we planned did not work out, but we will try to repeat it. In the meantime, the car is sent to the service for repairs and improvements. How do you like the cross-country ability of the standard Niva? I am an ardent UAZ driver, I always considered the UAZ to be more cross-country, but now I can confidently say that in many places the Niva drives better. The main disadvantage of the Niva is its small margin of safety and a large number of design flaws.
