The real Kirovets K-700 tractor is the very first representative of the legendary Kirovets tractors, which are produced by the Petersburg Tractor Plant to this day! This tractor became the most powerful agricultural tractor in the USSR at the time of its mass production! These tractors performed the whole range of not only field work, such as plowing, cultivation, deep loosening and sowing, but also performed transport work on the transportation of silage, haylage, hay, grain and other goods! The first K-700 tractor was developed back in 1962, and it went into serial production two years later - in 1964 and was produced until 1975, when it was replaced by an updated line of tractors, which was represented by two main models, namely the K-700A and K-701, which are still working in the fields today. The early K-700 tractor used an eight-cylinder YaMZ-238NB engine with a nominal power of 212 hp. The maximum torque that this engine produced was 932 Nm, and the nominal crankshaft speed was 1700 rpm. To access engine maintenance, the upper part of the hood was folded back towards the cabin, and the side shields were removed. The gearbox is mechanical, four-mode, with four gears shifting without interrupting the power flow in each of the modes. There are a total of 16 gears for forward movement and 8 for reverse movement. The speed of movement was selected in the range from 2.9 to 32 km / h when moving forward and from 5.1 to 29 km / h when moving backward. The tractor was based on two frames connected to each other by a hinge. The tractor was controlled by changing the angle between these frames using hydraulic cylinders. Unlike its successors, the K-700A and K-701 tractors, the first K-700 had a spring suspension on the front axle, making it much softer and more comfortable for the operator. The rear axle was rigidly attached to the frame. The wheels that were installed on the K-700 had a size of 23.1 / 18-26. The tractor cabin is quite large, two-seater. The operator's seat was equipped with a suspension. The fuel tank with a capacity of 450 liters was located behind the cabin. There were also hydraulic tanks. The units were connected using a three-point hydraulic hitch or using a towing bracket or hydraulic hook. The operating weight of the tractor was 12,000 kg, with almost 8,000 kg falling on the front axle. The overall dimensions of this tractor are as follows: - length 7.2 m - width 2.5 m - height 3.2 m. The tractor shown in this video was produced in 1970 and until about the end of the 90s it worked for road workers as a tractor for transporting various road machinery and equipment on a trailer. After decommissioning, this tractor was bought by a farmer and since then has been working in the fields of a small farm located in the Kuyurgazinsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Many thanks to Alexander Mikhailovich, the owner of this tractor, for the opportunity to see and capture in action a legendary Soviet tractor, quite rare today! 00:00 A short story about the history and features of the tractor 04:41 Equipment in operation in the field 06:50 View from the cabin during work 09:36 Equipment in operation in the field 10:51 Tractor in action with beautiful shots Be sure to subscribe to other platforms so as not to get lost: LandTech Channel on Yandex Zen: https://zen.yandex.ru/id/5e8f675378fc...
