Wendy Holdener has to ask herself this question in February 2024 when her brother Kevin loses the battle against cancer. "DOK" paints a moving portrait of their extraordinary sibling relationship. Since childhood, the two have shared a passion for skiing and dream of a great career. But Kevin's cancer diagnosis at the age of 20 put an end to his own sporting plans. Instead, he devotes himself entirely to Wendy's success so that she can concentrate on her goal: to become one of the best slalom skiers in the world. When it becomes clear at the end of 2023 that Kevin's illness is incurable, he decides to capture his story and his special bond with Wendy in a film. But he dies during filming.
