Course link: https://anapincolini.com.br/cursos-2/ Today we will talk about WELCOME in a broad sense, as an environment and as a professional attitude that permeates all spaces at Suas, not just the welcome in the strict sense (as the first point of contact at PAIF). Our focus today is the CRAS. We are coming from this experience of the pandemic, an event of enormous proportions whose consequences will take time to pass. We had many impacts on the functioning of services, we had (and still have) to serve faster, serve more people, serve with social distancing. We had to discover/build/invent ways to create and maintain bonds mediated by technologies. This whole issue of virtual services came up, debates about the INSS, which flooded the CRAS with its demands, service by phone and through apps, proposals that the single registry also become an app... So, for several reasons and on several fronts, we noticed a certain distance, a new form of relationship. But social policy is not just about money: for it to be successful, social policy has to have a connection. Not that it is not possible to have a connection mediated by technology, of course it is. But the face-to-face meeting with this other person who assists me is very important, especially in our area. Incorporating technological tools is important and optimizes a lot of things, but I don't think replacing everything with technology is the way forward for an area like ours. And it's not just a question of people not having access to technology: even if everyone had access and everyone knew how to use it, I still believe that the best technology we have at Suas is human technology, its workers. This is the main tool, the main resource we have to offer users. And this all has to do with welcoming. Welcoming this user who arrives for the first time, in the case of welcoming in the strict sense; or welcoming this user who returns, in the case of welcoming in the broad sense. And today we are going to think about all this in the Cras space, so that, in the next video, we can bring this discussion to special protection (Creas and reception services).
