B2 fire in a small building At 2:03 p.m., the Wegberg fire department was alerted to a B2 fire in a small building in Rath-Anhoven on Johannes-Pellen-Str. According to the caller, a patio roof directly next to the building was burning and the smoke from the fire was already entering the building. The control center alerted the main station, the construction and administration squad, the technical operations management (TEL), as well as fire brigade 1 Wegberg and fire brigade 2 (21 Rath-Anhoven, 22 Moorshoven). To protect the emergency services, the Wegberg rescue RTW-1 was alerted and the police were also alerted. When the first fire engine (LF), Fl. Wegberg 21 HLF20-1, arrived, the group leader (GF) assessed the situation and was able to confirm a fire. However, it was not the roof that was burning, just a garden chair on the terrace. After the control center was informed, all fire brigade vehicles that were still on the way were able to abort their journey and return to their home base. The fire on the terrace was quickly extinguished using the HLF20's rapid attack line (SAL). At 2.18 p.m. the scene was handed over to the Heino 11/32 and the remaining fire brigade forces, LG 22 Rath-Anhoven, were then able to return to the fire station.
