The couple Ólöf Þorvaldsdóttir and Logi Kristjánsson have written the book Fjall í fangið, which talks about the avalanches in Neskaupstað but also about the community that the floods hit, and Egill Sæbjörnsson, a visual artist, assisted his mother Ágústa Oddsdóttir with her book about Sigríður Björnsdóttir's art therapy, and Oddný Eir Ævarsdóttir, a writer, wrote and edited a book about the life of his mother, Guðrún Kristjánsdóttir. Vigfús Bjarni Albertsson, former hospital chaplain, talks about life, death and the struggle for life, and Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, the general priest, talks about faith and the tones of existence, death, life and magic on the occasion of the solstice festival.
