The road winds through picturesque villages and verdant landscapes, while the mighty silhouettes of the Alps rise on the horizon. As we approach the Brenner Pass, we are greeted by magnificent views of the mountain peaks that surround us. The feeling of freedom and adventure fills the air as we slowly but surely make our way over the pass, with anticipation for what awaits on the other side. Once inside Italy, the landscape changes dramatically. The mountains' steep slopes give way to gentle hills and vineyards. We continue our journey towards the sparkling Lake Garda, where we stop in the charming village of Torbole. Here we enjoy the crystal clear water, the picturesque alleys and the relaxed atmosphere by the lake shore. On weekdays, we live just south of Stockholm, but when the opportunity arises, we are out on the roads with the motorhome. Travel in general is something we love, be it by car, boat or plane. After many years with a motorboat in the Stockholm archipelago, it was time to try something new, and we have talked a lot about motorhomes over the years. In the summer of 2022, we therefore bought our first mobile home, and now we are fixed. A little bit about us: Øystein, technology-interested and quality-conscious gadget geek. Happy to buy new gadgets, but then it should be the best on the market, and to achieve that, tests, evaluations, reviews and specifications must be carefully read. As an engineer and IT consultant, it is also a pleasure to immerse yourself in details, install, assemble and program. Carina is the one who organizes the car, and has a close eye on cupboards, shelves, fridge & freezer. She is also the one who likes to fix the food. Here, she tries to live up to it, even if you live a bit spartanly when you live on a small surface. Not infrequently, oysters and champagne can appear, or grilled beef fillet with potato gratin. Otherwise, Carina likes to bask in the sun, with a glass of rosé in hand. Together we are true connoisseurs of life, and like to splurge on the trips. We prefer to connect with EL so we can charge, run AC, and make a good espresso, and preferably near a center where there is a good restaurant.
