Few people know that the Romanesque collegiate church in Kruszwica in Kujawy was created as a result of the reconstruction of the original chapel from the 1st millennium, built in the times of Prince Mieszko I. To this day, an amazing portal remains from this original temple, one of the oldest architectural monuments in all of Poland and Central Europe. In addition, with our wonderful host Mr. Janusz Owczarek we will discuss the fascinating history of the collegiate church itself, which was built at the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries, and we will try to unravel the mystery of its extraordinary, Gothic tower.
