Check out our content ???? ???? https://linktr.ee/Eletricity ___________________________________________ In our test, we used thermography to check the connector's behavior. Test sequence: 1) Connection of the 6mm² cable to the connector as described by the manufacturer. 2) Application of a current of 41A as per the maximum current capacity described in the manufacturer's manual. 3) Application of overload current (above 200A). Test results In the first situation - 41A current - Equal heating occurred throughout the length of the cable, with no hot spot on top of the connector and the temperature did not exceed 32°C. In the second situation – Current above 200A – The connector insulation completely melted, but there was no generation or propagation of flames, and the connection point did not break either (expected result). For this test, the temperature was above 130°C. An interesting feature of this WAGO connector is the test window, where you can insert the multimeter tip without having to undo the connection to measure. Another advantage is the simplicity of making the connection, since it does not have screws. Using the levers, you can disconnect and reconnect very easily. There is still a lot of resistance among electrical professionals regarding the use of connectors, but with the advancement of manufacturing technology, connectors have become increasingly safer and more practical when it comes to electrical installation. ????
