La Palma hike with Benjamin from Banana Island GR131 from Mirador del Time to Tazacorte In this video we meet Benjamin from the YouTube channel Banana Island and go on an exciting hike along the GR131, one of the most beautiful hiking trails on La Palma. We start from the Mirador del Time and immerse ourselves in the impressive landscape of this beautiful Canary Island. On the way we cross endless banana plantations while Benjamin tells us about the fascinating fauna and diverse plants of La Palma. The island's vegetation is simply breathtaking! Then it gets adventurous: The path leads us steeply down a cliff and we discover hidden caves that were once inhabited by the indigenous people. Today some hippies have settled here and live in these caves. The mix of history and alternative lifestyles is really fascinating. After a challenging hike we finally reach the picturesque Tazacorte. There we enjoy the view of the colorful houses and sit down on the beach to refresh ourselves after the long tour. A perfect end to an unforgettable day of hiking on La Palma!
