Hello everyone, Today I propose a soap that often unleashes tempers, some great supporters, others instead see it as the plague. I, based on research I have done, find it a very interesting thing if done intelligently, that is, laundry soap, with used oil. First of all it must be said that both schools of thought are right. In the sense that those who say that it is not done because it contains carcinogenic substances are true, but it is also true what those who do it say, that it does not create problems. It is enough to ensure that these substances do not form or at least that they form minimally, it is all in the choice of oil, first of all it must be an oil that holds up well to temperatures when frying, so we are talking about an extra virgin olive oil, or an olive, or a hazelnut oil, or peanut, as in my case, which I used 50% fried peanut oil, where I had cooked some chips and 50% coconut oil to give more washing power and more foam. Another very important thing is that the oil must have fried two, maximum three times and be filtered between uses and must never have exceeded 180°, that is, the smoke point. When you see your oil thicken or smoke, it is better to take it to the ecological Oasis. Otherwise, you can make a soap to give new life to this oil in an ecological way, so as not to impact the environment again. Think that just one liter of oil can pollute kilometers of sea. Not to mention the filters that are used before the water is released into the sea, but for all these things I leave you two links. The first is the one that talks about the problems of used oil, the second instead of a Calabrian cooperative, which has embraced this cause and collecting used oil for the country, produces this laundry soap and then to thank those who helped them, in the collection, returns the product in the form of a gadget. I find it a very beautiful thing, both because they created the work, and because they use waste materials for production and also because they show everyone that it can be done???? the formula I used is this: 250 g of fried and cleaned peanuts then I will explain better how, 250 g of coconut oil, 5 drops of rosemary oleoresin, which you can omit if you make small doses and use it quickly, 87 grams of caustic soda with 10% excess, 160 grams of water, two grams glda, which you can also omit this, always if you make small doses and use the soap quickly, mint essential oil. First of all, among the various systems for cleaning oil, I chose the filtering and short cooking with aromatic herbs (I used: Bay leaves, rosemary, sage, lemon peel, mint, lavender, Thyme, oregano, cloves and cinnamon, but you can choose the ones you like best) and then let it rest for about a month before using it, alternatively there is also cleaning with food gelatin, dissolving a spoonful of gelatin powder or 4 sheets of gelatin, in half a cup of very hot water, (this dose is needed for a liter of oil), they will be mixed together and then put the oil in the refrigerator for at least 10 hours, a layer of gelatin will form on the surface, which will have incorporated all the waste particles that were present in the oil, removing this gelatin you will thus have a clean oil that can be used for soap. The caustic soda that I have marked is calculated for this formula, so do not make diversifications and always check the composition of your Fats, to calculate the soda needed for your formula again, you can also not put coconut, you will have a soap that is a little less cleansing and less foamy, still good and for the calculation check the composition if you have a seed oil and use the SAP higher than the fat it contains. Remember that it is a very cleansing soap and must be used with gloves. These things are much more, I explain them to you well in the video, so take a look and let me know in the comments What you think. https://www.adriaticaoli.com/normativ... • Felici da matti, quando l'olio divent...
