The forage harvester KSK-100 in the 80-90s was the main forage harvester in the Soviet Union! This combine, including its modifications, was mass-produced from 1977 to 2009 at the GOMSELMASH plant located in the city of Gomel, Belarus and at the BRYANSKSELMASH plant. For harvesting corn and other tall crops, the combine was equipped with a special header, which had a long receiving table with chain-slat conveyors and a large reel that could be raised to a great height. In this video, the KSK-100A combine works with just such a header. KamAZ 55102 and an MTZ-80 tractor work to transport silage from the combine. The video was filmed in one of the farms of the Bakalinsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Many thanks to the farm manager, machine operators and drivers for showing the equipment and the work they do!
