Today we set off for Cerro Fitz Roy, one of the most challenging treks in El Chaltén! During the tour we passed by Laguna Capri, with incredible views of Fitz Roy and the Piedras Blancas Glacier. We also made a stop at Mirador Piedras Blancas and walked towards Laguna Sucia… did we make it? We decided to camp at Camp Poincenot to enjoy the sunrise at Laguna de los Tres. The night was an incredible experience. Being surrounded by so much nature in complete darkness, with the silence of the deep forest, made everything feel almost magical. The weather today was super changeable, so I recommend you go prepared with several layers of clothing. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed living this day.
