Mat and Daniel (host of the @carwowDeutschland channel) have charged both cars and are ready to drive them on English roads until the charge runs out! Let's compare both cars. Let's start with the Mercedes: this is a charged Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 model, equipped with two electric motors with a total output of 658 hp and 950 Nm of torque. In addition, it also has an optional package for 9 thousand pounds, which increases the power to 750 hp and torque to 1020 Nm! The EQS also has a 107.8 kWh battery, which should be enough for 575 km. Naturally, it's a heavy car, with a kerb weight of 2,580kg; the AMG EQS with the optional kit will set you back £170,000. Next up is the BMW: this is the 760i, which, like the EQS, has two electric motors producing a combined 544bhp and 545Nm of torque. It's heavier than the EQS, with a kerb weight of 2,640kg, and the 102kWh batteries should give it a range of 620km. Given it's not the i7M (which hasn't come out yet), it's cheaper than the EQS, with a starting price of £110,000. So which will go further, the BMW or the AMG?
